WARD PARTY
We asked Bodie if he wanted to sit on Santa's lap and he said,
"Uh no I think I will just stand."
This past weekend Blaine's grandpa Cecil Barrow passed away. We will miss him. He was the puppet man. He loved to play his harmonica, spoons and dance his dolls. He made wooden ones and would dance them on this board. It was pretty cool.
Things yet to come this month.
1)Chritmas Party at the Braithwaite's (Adult Night Out Relief Society Group)
2)Brittin's piano recital.
3)Blaine and I are both speaking on assignment this Sunday for our callings and then next Sunday we are singing a duet together. We will not be videoing these for your viewing but you can always come listen if you are in the vicinity.
3.5) Wrapping
4)Sterling and Hunter's band concert.
4.5)More Wrapping.
5)Bunco Christmas Party.
6)Christmas Eve at Grandma and Grandpa Wintrode's
6.5)Praying that I am done wrapping.
7)Christmas Dinner at Grandma and Grandpa Braithwaite's
Well these are just a few things. I am sure that there are many more. I look forward to blogging and hope to have a few responses. I have to say that I kind of like blogging more than FB to those who have become addicted the other way. I won't name any names Libbie and Beckie but you know what I mean.

Your house looks BEAUTIFUL!! I can't wait to have a tree someday!! You do such a good job decorating your home always! I love the pic of Bodie by Santa, I can totally picture him saying he would just stand! Fun idea with the Christmas chains! Good luck wrapping, I love that part...try to enjoy that peaceful time of being by yourself wrapping :) Love you and wish we could be closer for the holidays!
Fun to see your pics of the ward party and the making of your "count-down to Christmas chains". Looks like the kids had fun!! Cass is right--you always decorate to make your home a festive place to be:) Santa will be here before you know it!
Cassie, when you have 5 kids wrapping is not peaceful unless you do it very late at night, I mean very late now that I have teenagers, or when everyone is gone. The latter never happens. SO it is me trying to find a place to hide while the kids have mastered how to unlock every door with their fingernails. I have tried to bar up the doors but then they just stand there and pound every 2 minutes when they need something. The funny part is that they could be totally happy and content doing something else, they could even have been doing it for several minutes, but as soon as you disappear into THE ROOM they are on you like a fly. I think that that statement is right. Oh who cares mom has already made her comment hopefully she won't check this again.
Christmas really is my favorite holiday though. That is why my colors of my house are what they are. It almost feels like Christmas all year round. Love ya.
Hey Bryn...Happy Holidays! I can't believe it's Christmas time again either! I wish I was close by I would love to hear you & Blaine do a duet. That is so sweet that he will sing with you! I bet it's going to be GREAT! I love all the fun new pics.! You guys have BeAuTifUl KiDs!!! Love ya!
I am kind of over my addiction already! The problem with facebook is that you don't get good stories and news, you just find people. I do think blogger is much better for families too!
Thanks for the photos Bryn... I stole them :-) Your post is wonderful as always, it is a pleasure keeping up with you. Oh by the by, I finally added a post for December... well I didn't actually say anything, but I did post some pictures :-) Love ya, Ang
